An outstanding sale was held at the Charlgrove sale pens on Tuesday 23 July. 459 Cattle were bought and sold. The quality of the weaners in particular were exceptional. Prices for all calves averaged R16.08/kg with some heifer calves fetching as much as R17.10/kg. Cows & Calves averaged R6600 while good fat cows achieved as much as 13.40/kg. The next Charlgrove sale is to be held on the 27th of August.
