Bidding was brisk from the outset\, and all lots were sold where both buyers & sellers must have gone home extremely happy.\n\n\nWerner de Jager from Kenton on Sea bought the top priced Beefmaster bull\, lot 5\, for R100 000. The commercial Beefmaster type females sold easily at market related prices\, with autumn calving heifers not as in demand.\n\n\nJustin Stretton held his first Brahman bull sale and his 5 really solid bulls sold well to local buyers for a very acceptable average of R57000. Lawton Keevy from Douglas Heights bought the top priced bull\, lot 6 for R70000.\n\n\nBreaking news at the sale was that Just Beef Beefmasters will be partnering Begelly next year at the auction.
