A magnificent group of animals were on auction at the recent Hobson & Co Bedford Sale. Prices were exceptionally high. 719 Sheep and 250 cattle were sold on the day, with numerous prizes being awarded to the farmers for different groups of stock. The Champion Baby ox was awarded to Pierre van Niekerk and the Champion Ox was awarded to Van Niekerk Bros (Alfonso & Francois van Niekerk). The Champion cows went to Lochart and Huge Ainslie.
