The Bathurst Show fat stock competition was once again fiercely contested this year. Stock from Tarkastad, Bedford, Alexandria, Bathurst and Southwell entered stock this year. The fat ox competition was very closely contested and eventually won by Lochart & Hugh Ainslie from Bedford. The fat cow competition was won by Mr Tubby du Preez and the A Grade (Min of 3) section was won by Dave & Steve Cloete of Alexandria. Prices were as follows:
