Jean & Lionel de la Harpe had a solid 16th Normandy Dohne production sale held at Grassdale, Graaff Reinet on Tuesday 1st February.
The 39 A & AA rams averaged R9282-00. The top price paid was R18000 for lots 13 and 21. These 2 rams were bought by stud breeders Graham Hobson of Hobsondale Dohne’s (lot13) and Phillip & Dix Erasmus of Charlton Boerdery (lot21) respectively.
The 375 commercial Dohne ewes sold exceptionally well with pregnant ewes averaging R3050 each, dry ewes R2427, and Wissel/ 2T ewes R2230.
