Hobson & Co held a very successful dispersal sale for Garth and Michael Collett from Fish River on Wednesday 14th March. The excellent offering of their entire Dohne commercial flock came under the hammer of experienced auctioneer Paul Mills. Bidding was brisk on all lots with more than half the sale being bought by buyers from the Cradock, Graaff Reinet and Aberdeen districts. Other strong interest arrived from Cathcart and Bedford. Prices were excellent and compared very favorably with Dohne stud sales held in the Eastern Cape.
