There was a great turnout at the Frontier Bonsmara Farmers Day held in Kasouga. 138 people were registered. Speeches by Paul Hobson, Justin Stirk, Athol Trollip and Wallo Currie were very interesting. A short tour of Wallo Currie’s farm and cattle herd followed, with a display of a few Bonsmara bulls to finish. A competition to guess the weight of Wallo’s fat ox which weighed in at 1068kg was won by Mr Adrian Mullins.
