Pioneer Borans held a most successful sale at Peinke Ranch near East London on Friday 5th May. The auction was held in the evening for the first time and the venue was beautifully set up to sell the 46 cattle of exceptional quality. 91 buyers registered from throughout the country with bidding brisk on all lots.
Prices were very solid throughout with top prices achieved being:
Bulls: R190 000 for lot 12 sold by Yellow sands Borans to de la Vida Borans
: R180 000 for lot 24 sold by Frontier Borans to Landplaas Boerdery.
3 in 1’s: R350 000 for lot 3 sold by Peinke Ranch to Hurwitz Farming.
Pregnant Heifers: R160 000 for lot 9 sold by Peinke Ranch to Yodan Investments.
Open Heifers: R150 000 for lot 48 sold by Peinke Ranch to Yodan Investments.
